I decided on single-serving no-bake cherry cheesecake and Oreo dirt cake.
I always like to offer a choice.
Both recipes are incredibly simple.
Plus I found these adorable plastic dishes at the store - 4 for $2.
Want the recipes?
For the cheesecake you'll need:
Crust:
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup margarine, softened
1/4 cup sugar
Filling:
1 8oz package cream cheese
1 cup icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling (or other filling of your choice)
Mix graham crackers, margarine & sugar together until completely combined. Firmly press the mixture into the bottom of the dish. I then put the dishes into the fridge while I made the cream cheese filling though it isn't strictly necessary.
For the filling, beat the cream cheese, icing sugar, and vanilla together until smooth. Add the Cool Whip and stir in completely. Spoon the mixture over the graham cracker crust and refrigerate again if you'd like. Spread the cherry pie filling over the top of the cream cheese mixture.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
1 package Oreo cookies
2 boxes vanilla instant pudding
3 cups milk
2 cups Cool Whip
1 cup icing sugar
1 8oz package cream cheese
Put the Oreos in a plastic bag and crush them using a rolling pin. Super fast and easy. Mix the pudding, milk, Cool Whip, and cream cheese together until smooth. Slowly add the sugar and mix again.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Both desserts were a huge hit at the party.
(this one has graham cracker crumbs added because I was short on Oreos)
Yum!

These look so yummy. Is Cool Whip just whipped cream?
ReplyDeleteYes it's whipped cream. Technically it is "non-dairy whipped topping" because it's made of oil, but real whipped cream would probably taste even better.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good recipe! Thank you so much for sharing!
